Welcome
Welcome to Dayjo Aspen Games
Guess who's back, back again
After 13 long, hell-like weeks, I'm back, and I'm better than ever (literally :P).

For those of you that *don't* know, I've been away setting the footholds for my future; I've been at Parris Island, South Carolina, the base for the 13-week long boot camp training cycle for the United States Marine Corps. I have returned successfully, I am now a United States Marine.
Brand New Game In the Works!
GamesThat's right. Dayjo Aspen Games has secretly been in the making of a new game. Production is underway, but we're looking for graphic artists, namely 3d artists to work with...

Eminent - Online
GamesFinally started doing some work on this, mainly in the area of 'test programming' for various systems that will be used in the game.

I've successfully created a Mapping system which runs from a database with postcodes etc, using CSS and Javascript to display the isometric map, as well as smooth movement of the map to focus on specific buildings :)

All is going well, more progress soon!
Announcing our newest project: Link's Quest: Adventure of Roam!
GamesWe're now officially announcing the development of Link's Quest: Adventure of Roam, the first game related to ArcticFerret's Legend of Zelda-based sprite comic, Link's Quest.

The game is going to be a 2-dimensional side-scrolling shooter style game, and we are already in the development stages of this game, working along with ArcticFerret in the creation of her game. Look for updates about Link's Quest: Adventure of Roam in th near future!
Update
NewsWell, it's been a while, and I believe an update news post is needed :P
We haven't been very active recently, which is something that's definitely got to change, but we're working on that. Soon, we are going to be acquiring an indie license of GarageGames' Torque Game Builder, a 2-dimensional version of the engine that was going to power Warfare: Medieval Combat, which has, unfortunately, been canceled until further notice.

However, the coming of Torque Game Builder heralds the initialization of some new projects. A personal idea that I have been working with for a while now, Shutori Imosara, a small top-down 2D puzzle-solving/action RPG game is going to begin production soon, and more information on that game will appear soon, as well as the beginning of the development of the Adventure of Roam, a mini-game for ArcticFerret's Link's Quest (recently acquired by Dayjo Aspen, Inc, which can be viewed Here) comic.

Keep your eyes peeled for new updates & information on the site, as we're going to be pressing our developers to work hard for coming events, such as Zelda Fan Game Central's Z3 indie games event, thus releasing new information about our projects. As well, more and more, Dayjo Aspen Games is being advertised on other sites (through signatures & a miscellany of posts in various forums & other sites where relevant), so we will be pushing for more information from our developers, and getting them to flesh out their various games' pages more so that the public has something better to see.

Also, work has begun on a small community-based game development community intended on drawing newcomers to the field. The community is called Realm of Insomnia, and is intended to be a laid-back (as it is in the field of Game Development) community-friendly & content-based website. We can use any resources (legal, mind you) that you have to offer. Please email me at minalien@dayjo.org if you have anything to add. The site can be found http://roi.dayjo.org
Islelife Cancelled
GamesUnfortunately, Naz has retired from the teams and Islelife has died in the wake of his loss. Though don't panic, Dayjo is working on detailed Design Documents for Eminent, so hopefully we can recruit some new programmers.
Eminent - Online is underway!
GamesFinally, production of Eminent has begun! As you read this, we are working on various parts of the game, from databases to graphical user interfaces!

We're still looking for artists to work with us on this project, so if you are one, or know of any that might be interested, send them over this way, or e-mail: info@eminentonline.com

We'll try and keep everyone posted on how everything is going, so make sure you check back, regularly.
Two new projects accepted under DAG
GamesIt's been a little while since we've had a new news post, so I'd like to officially announce that Dayjo Aspen Games has recently added two new projects to its list: Eminent and The Legend of Zelda: Sword of Power.
Temporarily suspending work on Warfare: Medieval Combat
GamesWork on Warfare: Medieval Combat has been temporarily suspended due to future plans for the project. Updates will be posted in the future when work on Warfare: Medieval Combat is startedagain.
Dayjo Aspen Games Website Ready
NewsThe official website for Dayjo Aspen Games is now up and running. For the next few days (or weeks), a lot of things may change about it, but we're here now <_<
